Bento plus anime

A friend of mine just showed me some Geek Cupcakes, and then I remembered I'd saw something about "drawings" in Bento with foods and I ended finding this Anime Bento in the Danny Choo Blog (a blog I've been following since I wanted to visit Japan =D).

For those who are not familiar with japanese culture, Bento is a single-portion or home-packed meal with a lot of stuffs, usually taken to the work or small travels.

It's quite an art with food and I think it's a little bit sad to eat then, because they are very well done, and eat then mean vanish this artwork forever... what do you think?

Brazilian musician and his Japan experience

Yesterday, while I was waiting for my friend to drink some beer, a street artist (a brazilian one) stopped by my side and started to talk to me in japanese. In the begining I though he would say just a feel words, but soon I realize that he speaks japanese much better than me (it's not that dificult to do because I don't know much either =/). We spoke eachother for some time in japanese and he said he was living there for about 6 years (no wonder he speaks very well). He also said that I have a very good accent, which makes me feel very good and boost up my desire to learn japanese.

This the album cover I bough from him!!! That was really cheap, I think I bough 2 albuns for R$7,00 (US$4,00)

This is a music which I found out very funny!!! The video has nothing to do with its lyrics, but at least you can listen to it =D. You can find more his youtube profile: www.youtube.com/ManuVeiojp

WWWJDIC: Word Search

Looking for a good dictionary for japanese-english??? Why don't you try out WWWJDIC: Word Search??? Nowadays, Google Translator don't work properly for japanese language. You can write in japanese, romaji and in english. There are some features like kanji writing (to teach you the kanji stroke order) and many phrase examples (which I don't think it help you that much, since the phrases are quite complex if you just started to learning japanese).
